Thanksgiving Week Fun

The two days before our thanksgiving break were full of fun and learning.  We talked about our own family traditions during Thanksgiving and wrote about what we were thankful for.  We also created crock pot pumpkin bread and homemade cinnamon sugar butter.  They had so much fun measuring and cooking.  I am so thankful to have such a fabulous class this year.  Here is the link to the crock pot pumpkin bread if you would like to make it at home! http://wannabite.com/crockpot-pumpkin-bread/
It turned out just perfect!
Here it is cooking while we are working!
Everyone got a turn to use the mixer!

Here we are measuring out the ingredients

Five Fat Turkeys

This week I introduced a fun poem for the students called "Five Fat Turkeys"   The students came up with the idea to make it into a play so that we could create a movie for the blog.   They even decided that the play needed an introduction. This is such a creative group of kids!!! There are three movies below for your viewing pleasure.  (we did it three times so everyone would be able to have a part)

I hope you enjoyed our plays
